Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger : It’s Completely Collagical

Collage is a HIGH TECH, since it is very difficult to work out an order in all the mess. I decided to use my little 1” stamps to make a simple birthday card.
First I stamped the 9 pieces of the inch stamps in black, colored them with my Copics, then cut them out.
I prepared a 5”x5” folded card, I used IO CC070 and Adirondack Cranberry ink to stamp the background, then adhered a ribbon on it.
I cut another piece of white card stock with the size of 4”x4”, I used the Cranberry ink direct ink to the edge of the card stock, thus, I can have coordinated color for my card base.
I adhered the 9 pieces of inchies on to the card stock, then adhered it to my card with form adhesive.
Lastly, I tied a bow with a button, adhered it to the card with a glue dot.
This card will be entered to Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger : It’s Completely Collagical challenge.

Flourishes Six for Six Challenge!

Wow Six for Six with a recipe of 6 ingredients of the card, it is a challenge, I must try it.

I choose Flourishes SS181 Calla Lilies for my card, but I don’t want so many leaves on the card, so I made a little amendment of the stamp.

I only stamp the top of the lilies, then I drew the stems by myself, now the lilies are perfect for a bouquet.

I used Adirondack pigment ink (Pink Shell color) to cover a white card stock (direct to paper), since I don’t have any pink color paper in hand, I  dry embossed it with Spellbinders M-bossabilities EL-005, then adhered it to my light purple folded card.
I colored the lilies with my Copics, then cut it down.
I die cut two pieces of white card by using Spellbinders Gold Labels Four, distressed both pieces with light purple ink.

After I assembled the card, the final touch was to add a ribbon bow on top of the lilies bouquet and three pearls onto the card.

Now my card is ready to enter the Six for Six Challenge.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #230 ~ Christmas in July with a Catch!

Though it is still too early to make Christmas cards in July, but I like the CATCH idea for this challenge, so I decided to give it a try.
I used SS133 the sock stamp to stamp it twice, and made them connected to each other. I used Copics to color the socks, then cut them down carefully.
I picked a red color designer paper as the background, adhered the socks on to the card, then white embossed the sentiment.
Though it is a simple card, but a lot of detailed works to put this card together. This card will be entered to Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, Christmas in July with a Catch Challenge.

Moxie Fab World - The Trendy Triangles Challenge

When I saw so many beautiful pictures from Moxie Fab World from The Trendy Triangles Challenge, I decided to give it a try.
As suggested, I started from quilting to create a background. So I started to cut little triangles from my left over designer paper.
It’s a good way to consume my little pieces of designer paper, after I cut sufficient triangles I need, I started to arrange the triangles from light to darker color from top to bottom.
When I was done, I added a gold color card stock on the back, then use form adhesive to adhere my card base to a 5”x5” red color folded card.

I used Mbox Honeyblossom Spring die to cut out two pieces in red color, then adhere one whole spring one the left, and two little spring on the right.

Here you go, my card is done, and it will be entered to Moxie Fab World, The Trendy TrianglesChallenge.

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger : A Painterly Palette

I was inspired by the creamy painterly Palette, so I decided to use my gelatos to stamp a colorful medallion.
First, I picked some color I like from my gelatos, I drew the gelatos directly to the stamp, I used mini mister to spray some water on the stamp, then I stamped to my card stock.

This is how it looks when I took it off from the stamp, after the water is dried, you can see the creamy and shimmery look of a beautiful and colorful medallion.

I punch one 1 3/4” and one 1 1/2” circles, I applied pink gelato directly to the bigger circle, and stamped the sentiment on the smaller circle, then distressed the smaller circle with wild honey distress ink.

After I assembled the card, I adhered the two circles in the center of the medallion with form adhesive, and added a circle of white little pearls around it.

So my card is done, and it will be entered to Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger : A PainterlyPalette.
 Supplies :
1.     Stampin’ Up Medallion background stamp (115223)

My 2nd card for It’s a Christmas in July Flourishes Challenge!

Well, since I already took out my Christmas stamps box from the shelf, so I decided to make another Christmas card for this challenge.

This card I used SS211, the pretty Poinsettia and Pine stamp, I stamped it on a white cardstock, then colored with Copic Markers, then cut it out carefully.

I used an embossing folder from Spellbinders, the size is bigger than the normal one, so it is perfect for a 5”x5” card that I am going to make.
I embossed the folded card, then wrapped gold ribbon with a bow, then used pop dots to adhere the Poinsettia and Pine.

I decided to stamp the sentiment inside the card, so my 2nd card is done.

It’s a Christmas in July Flourishes Challenge!

Are you ready for a little Christmas in July? No! It’s still too early, but since it is for Flourishes’s birthday challenge, then YES, I will take out my Christmas Stamps box from my shelf, and start to do some cards.

I picked two stamp sets from Flourishes, and to show off the sentiment I love, I made this kind by using the sentiment as the focal point.
I used a Christmas atmosphere designer paper as the background, wrapped with some silver ribbon. Then I die cut a piece of cardstock will Spellbinders die, stamped the sentiment in the middle, then add some stars (left over from other die cuts) on left top and right bottom to add more interests to the card.

I stamped twice of the little pine from SS211, then colored with Copic Markers, then cut them down.

Finally, I assembled the card with pop dots, then the card is made.

I am entering this card to Flourishes’s It’s a Christmas in July Challenge!
